Monday Poetry Train #???

I know, some day when I have nothing else to do and I get ambitious I'll count up all of my Poetry contributions and start numbering them, but in the meantime here is this week's poem. I started thinking about this in the car on the way to work this morning, and it sort of wrote itself. Enjoy.

Constellations

Coy Cupid's wicked dart
Catches the Hunter unawares
Watching the seven Sisters
Dancing to the music of time.
The dart flies true,
Loosing Orion's bow.
The Dipper tips
The milky way slips,
And stars fall down like rain.
Glittering diamond dust.
Tears of sorrow,
Tears of joy,
Tears of completion,
of ecstasy as I kiss
The constellations speckled
Across your skin
As freckles.

Man, Ann, that's delicate. Just lovely. I'm in awe over the last three lines.

(clutching my heart) Ann, that's totally beautiful. Everything about it. Especially:

'The Dipper tips
The milky way slips,
And stars fall down like rain.
Glittering diamond dust.'
