And to celebrate this dubious occasion, I am having a book give away. I will draw names from the comments to this post and send the lucky person (or persons) one of my favorite books (if you really don't like mysteries or fantasy let me know- I have other favorites). I'm trying to decide what kind of digital camera to get (so I can post my own pictures on my blog and not have to rely on the Cheezburger for my pictures), so in your comment if you could tell me if you have a digital camera, what kind, and if you like the one you have. I've been doing some research, just getting a second (and third) opinion. It's all good.

I have a digital camera that I bought last year.. Kodak. But I don't like it at all. The pictures are usually blurry unless I take them outdoors. And it doesn't matter what setting it's on.
I'm going to have to invest in a better one soon..

Happy birthday, Ann! We've had two cheapo cameras (both less than $100) so I don't know how great the quality is, but for snapping pictures of the monsters, I definitely like the Kodak more than the HP Photosmart. (Don't enter me in your contest--let a reader win!)

We have a digital Cannon Rebel, and love it. It's a single-lens-reflex, and so a bit on the bulky side, but it takes great photos. On the other hand, it's not as inexpensive as a smaller point-and-shoot model.

As for a camera, I have a Nikon D50. LOVE it, but I need a better telephoto lens, I've decided.
The NPCA rep on our Yellowstone trip had this WAY cool Fujifilm camera that had continuous shutter adjustments and an awesome telephoto. I'd recommend that one, too.

I love fantasy as mysteries tend to frustrate me when I can't figure out 'who done it'. LOL
My son tells me the best digital cameras are Hitachi ones but, whichever one you buy, I hope you will still use the occassional cheezburger picture as I love seeing them when I see your blog.
