Okay, for today's poem -- I blame
Joely. She had posted a comment on her blog saying that she was writing a poem dedicated to PBW in the hopes that she would return to the blogosphere. I posted a comment suggesting limmericks, and included a first line, so then of course I had to post it, and did on her blog. But then I thought I would share this with you all. Joely's is a much better poem, by the way, but for a limmerick, mine's not half bad. And PBW, if you're reading this, please post and let us know you're okay (and probably busy- we understand). Don't make me pull out the puns. :)
There was a great writer named Lynn
Who gave us the vampires Darkyn
To get her to log
Into her great blog
I might have to write this agin.

Very cool! I've never had the knack for limericks. Maybe I should practice some more.
PRICELESS. I'll gladly take the blame. :-)
This is super cool Ann! I loved it, simple short, beautiful!!!! ;)
Short.
Actually, I'm hoping you do have to post this "agin". (Not because you don't get her to respond, but because it's funny)
I like!
LOL I like it. I wrote one too. I wanted to do something metered and rhymy (I'm sort of good with that) but... something else came out instead. :)
I'm just glad she hasn't deleted her archives. Hope the limerick works!
Too funny! I love it.
That's fabulous, Ann.
I'm hoping that Lynn's busy writing something brilliant, and that's why she's been MIA. But who knows if she won't pop in to tell us?
:) limericks are always catchy
Thanks Missy, it was fun.
Hey Joely, glad you like it, I hope PBW does.
Hi Red, thanks.
Hi Lisa, don't worry, I'm going to make a blog for just the poems and have a link on my sidebar (when Sven lets me *g*).
Thanks Gautami, glad you like it.
I liked it, Jess *waves PBW pom poms*.
Okay, blogger just ate my comments (on My Own Blog?). Bleh. Will try this again.
Thanks Charlie, I hope it works too.
Thanks Susan, Nicole, and Anne. :)
someone ought to be hearing her name called in her dreams about now
Your right, it's been a long time since she has posted. Maybe she's in the middle of writing her next Darklyn book?
Hi Joy Renee, or at least her ears must be itching (isn't that supposed to mean that someone is talking about you, or thinking about you?).
Hi Tempest, She did mention deadlines, but still...
Hopefully she be back soon.
