Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen DVDs That I Own

I'm back (sort of). Whatever it was that knocked me on my keister this weekend is basically gone. My energy has yet to return though. I had all sorts of good intentions yesterday about things I was going to get done when I got home from work (and we all know where good intentions lead). I thought that I would read for a bit after dinner and then get started, right? Wrong. The next thing I knew it was 2:30 am and the night was history, so I got a drink, brushed my teeth and went back to bed, and the next thing I knew it was 6:30. So I slept almost 12 hours, and I'm still tired. Sigh. Oh well, c'est la vie. Here's my list. 13 DVDs that I own:

1) King Arthur
2) Finding Nemo
3) Monsters, Inc.
4) The Chronicles of Narnia
5) The Day After Tomorrow-
6) Independence Day
7) Jurassic Park III- I own the other two, but on VHS.
8) King Kong- the Peter Jackson version
9) Nanny McPhee
10) Master & Commander
11) X-Men (and X-Men 2)
12) Harry Potter (1-4)
13) Lord of the Rings- I own the complete extended version set and the theatrical versions of 2 & 3.
My DVD wish list isn't long enough for a TT: Sense & Sensibility, National Treasure, and (maybe) the DaVinci Code.
Hope you all have a healthy and happy summer (it is the first day of summer you know).

Hey Ann! Oh, Nanny McPhee is a must have for the kids. They've watched it a dozen times already as well as The Chronicles of Narnia. I have Legends of the Fall which is one of my faves...and North and South too!!

This is a great list. Makes me want to scour my DVD collection too! LOL!

Howdy, Ann! Sorry to hear you've got the Summer Virus my pediatrician diagnosed my son with.

At least you have good movies to keep you company while you convalesce.

Take care of yourself. Hope to see you on the Poetry Train on Monday, but if you're not feeling up to it yet, don't stress yourself. We'll catch you when you're ready.

I have the Harry Potters 1,2, and 4. :-D I'm boycotting 3! I really wasn't too fond of it. My DVD collection is crazy big, especially since the only one my son lets us watch is Cars.

I have a lot of the same ones too. Btw, know exactly what you mean about intentions and lack of energy. Seems to be going around, isn't it? Dh comes home from a business trip tomorrow and I'm looking at a house that needs major cleaning and I just so don't want to deal with it. (sigh) Maybe I should go watch a movie to take my mind off it. LOL!

Finding Nemo is the only one I've seen out of these. I'm pathetic. Hope you're feeling better.

Good variety. Our most recent purchase was Ben Hur, which was great for the kids to watch on our unplanned road trip a couple months ago. My TT is about summer.
