Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Books on my "to be read" pile

It’s late, I’m tired, and I can’t think of anything else to list. I’ll do better next week.
Not in any particular order, just how I picked them up. Don’t be insulted if your book wasn’t on this list, this list was just the pile of books taking over my coffee table, if your book wasn’t on it, it is probably in the pile taking over the bedroom. *g*.

1) Kitty Takes a Holiday- Carrie Vaughn
2) Plague of Memory- S.L. Viehl (I have Rebel Ice- somewhere-really I do).
3) Kushiel’s Scion- Jacqueline Carey
4) Persuader- Lee Child
5) Carpe Demon- Julie Kenner
6) Coyote Dreams- C.E. Murphy
7) Blade Dancer- S.L. Viehl
8) A Grave Talent- Laurie R. King
9) Into the Fire- Jessica Hall
10) Kiss of Midnight- Lara Adrian
11) Prince of Wolves- Susan Krinard
12) Talyn- Holly Lisle (mine is a hardback, signed by Holly herself- feel free to be jealous *g*)
13) Diplomacy of Wolves, Vengeance of Dragons, and Courage of Falcons- Holly Lisle- for the price of postage she sent me a whole box of her books (she’s probably run out by now, or I’d send you over to her sight to get some yourself).

There, that wasn’t too painful, and I even cleared of my coffee table (kind of). I’ll do the linky thing later, I want to go to bed now. ‘Night.

I can't wait to get my box of books from Holly! I still need to read books 3 and 4 of the StarDoc series (I skipped ahead and have read Rebel Ice through Plague). I also really want to read Blade Dancer after Lynn's post about it earlier this week or last.

that's quite an interesting set! haven't had much chance to read the books piling up on our table, either. :)

That's quite a list . . . I've never heard of any of them.

Kiss of Midnight is the only one I've read and it's really good.

I'm not familiar with a lot of these, but the Carpe Demon one has an awesome title. I might have to look for it.

I envy the huge list of PBW books you have.

I'm down to the last few StarDoc books to read. :(

Joely- isn't it great getting mail and you just know it's going to be something special :o).

Maiylah-I could do several TTs with the piles of books to be read *g*. And of course I keep getting more.

Great list, I'm not familiar with any of these books or authors, I'll have to check them out.

Janie- I loved you list. Thanks for the laugh!

Red- glad I could suggest a few (after all why should I be the only one with the TBR pile taking over my house *g*).

n.j.-thanks, it was partly everybody talking about it on their blogs that I bought it.

Christine- the subtitle is The Adventures of a Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom, it should be fun.

Hey May- I might be able to find some of her out of print books for you, if you're interested (I was recently introduced to a killer used bookstore the last time I went to Williamsburg). Let me know which ones you need and I'll keep my eye out for them.

Charlene- Why thank you. *g*

Amy- several of these books are by authors on my read everything list, so I'm looking forward to reading them. Especially 1,2,3, 6,7,8,9,12, and 13 *g*. The others are my first books of theirs. Happy TT.

I want to read Laurie R. King! I always love her covers. That TBR pile really grows. I wish I could just sit and read for three weeks straight!

Three weeks wouldn't be enough for me, Spy. (yes, I'm commenting on a comment!)

You've got a lot of good stuff on this list. Maybe I need three months... maybe then I can begin to get caught up.

Yup, I said "begin." I have a small book problem. *blush*

Hey, there's nothing "small" about my book problem *g*. Actually, I'm thinking about getting another paperback bookcase, and then my small (mass market) books wouldn't be problem. TTFN.

I suspect I'd go way over if I did my TBR list. :)

Sounds like a great list! I've never read Holly Lisle's stuff, but her books intrigue me, so she's definitely on my "to be put on my TBR list", hee!

Happy TT, and thanks for visiting my blog!

I've never read any of these, but some of them sound interesting - they may have to be added to the TBR list.

Thanks for visiting my TT. :-)
