Thirteen Books I’m Waiting For

There not exactly in any particular order, they started out in order, they just didn’t stay that way. If you have a book coming out, and do not see your name on it, don’t be offended, it’s not that I’m not waiting for it, it’s that my memory is shot and I couldn’t think of it. . Besides, I walked almost 13,000 steps today (after schlepping 6 loads of laundry up to the third floor yesterday) and my brain and the rest of me hurt, so we’re going to bed early tonight.

1) HP #7-JKR (Duh)
2) Witch Hunt- Shirley Damsgaard- okay, technically it is already out, I just haven’t made it to B&N yet.
3) Murder in Chinatown- Victoria Thompson
4) Soul Song- Marjorie Liu
5) Sebastien and Belladona- Anne Bishop
6) Blood & Circuses- Kerry Greenwood
7) Earthly Delights- Kerry Greenwood- new series, supposed to be completely different from Phryne Fisher.
8) Cast in Secret- Michelle Sagara
9) The Mirador- Sarah Monette (okay- I should probably read book 2 first- picky picky).
10) Water Like a Stone- Deborah Crombie (yes, I know-it’s out already- but now that I’ve almost finished this J.D. Robb obsession- I can go back to reading other books as well- and possibly get caught up---nah).
11) The Harlequin- I know, I know. I still want to read it.
12) Creation in Death-J.D. Robb- B&N lists several entries for audio versions but none for the book.
13) Lick of Frost- Laurell K. Hamilton

Me too on LKH. It's like a train wreck. I know it's coming, but I get on the train anyway.

My TBR pile has gotten mighty short since I started up with my critique group. I read their WIPs and the occassional book from my writer's group so I can write a review. And that's about it! But no big whoop - all that has made for excellent reading.

What can I say? I'm addicted to books. There is no such thing as too many *g*.

Hey, sweetie, I hope you don't mind if I steal some of these for my own TBR pile? =) They sound yum!!

Sebastian was good. Haven't read Belladonna.

Not sure about Monette. I can't stand one of the POV characters in her current series, you see.

I've not read the second Sagara book but I await it eagerly.

I'm looking forward to Liu's Ace release next year--the novella that starts her new urban fantasy series was good, and it's really hard to impress me when it comes to novellas. Not a fan of her Dirk & Steele series.

Hi May, Do you remember the title of Liu's novella? I'd be interested in reading it if I could find it. Thanks, Ann
